The invention of the abacus isn’t attributed to a single person, as it likely emerged independently in different cultures around the same time. Early forms of the abacus, or counting devices resembling it, appeared in Mesopotamia around 2700-2300 BC and in China around 1100 BC. The Chinese version, known as the Suan Pan, is perhaps the most of people use abacus for solving maths questions and problem.
